He is indeed more or less the protagonist. And I've had his origin story pretty well established in my head for a long time, I think a lot of which is going to come up in the next chapter. Aiden originally had another name, and he was Daemon's cooler, tougher brother. And I realized before I started Super U. that he was pretty flat and boring. So I combined him with a character I played in an RPG (named Aiden), combining the backstory of the cool guy version with the character traits of the other, and then I added the "curse" that came with his power of immortality: every time he is killed, he ressurects with a "blank slate." Daemon and their sister Meghan also have a "curse" to accompany their immortality, though theirs is less severe. Something else I may get into in the next chapter. Thanks for reading, buddy!
